As boys’ volleyball season is approaching, senior Jose Jimenez, is determined to play his best – since it will be his last year playing for South Gate High School. He tried out for the team his junior year hoping to try a new sport besides soccer and he ended up really enjoying it.

Jose really enjoys “Hitting the ball from the middle.” He likes competitions and is very competitive when on the floor. Their season begins in March and he is looking forward to his games against teams like Jordan and South East.

Jose knows that it takes hard work and dedication to be successful. He is looking forward to making this year a good one and pushing his team to play at a higher level.
