Imagine being born with a medical condition no one else has, but you. Thankfully you don’t have these, but here are some people with odd medical disorders.

Omar Maya, Senior, stated that these medical conditions are rare in the US, or even never even seen in many people’s life span. These disorders are rare which makes the people that have them unique.

Human Werewolf Syndrome, or known less by its medical term Hypertrichosis, is what causes unwanted hair all over the body. This occurs because people are born with extra genes on a certain spot of the X chromosome that causes extra hair growth.

Epidermodysplasia verruciformis, otherwise known as Tree Bark Skin Disorder, is an inherited skin disorder of wart-like lesions that may form anywhere on the body. They are caused by infection with a subtype of HPV (Human papillomavirus).

Living Statue Syndrome, known in the medical realm as Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressive, is the rarest pain and disabling genetic condition in which bones, muscle, tendons, ligaments, and other connective tissues develop across joints, restricting movement and forming a second skeleton.
